Established in 2008, Tayba provides current and formerly incarcerated men and women with Islamic education geared towards the refinement of their thinking and behavior.

Over the years, Tayba Foundation has:

Developed an Islamic educational curriculum incorporating inmate needs
Established Reentry and Life Skills programs
Launched Project Fatima, run by Muslim women for Muslim women behind bars and in Reentry

Our Mission

Tayba Foundation is a non-profit organization that serves individuals and families impacted by incarceration. Our work is organized into three interrelated program areas: Education, Life skills, and Re-entry.
